Lets Get Drunk Tonight!
2nd-Jan-2008 09:39 pm
Who: Tayuya and Kin (haha)
When: 2nd January
What: Kin was lonely and managed to get someone to come over and keep her company. Drinking ahead!
Warning: It's Tayuya (and Kin!), and they're drinking.

It didn't take Kin the whole of the half hour she'd told Tayuya it would take. It hardly even took her twenty minutes, for there was a lovely little place right down the street that was practically a hop, skip, and a jump away. Kin had gone and come back and left the two kinds of beverages in the fridge, with a third left out for her to look at. She got down some glasses, nothing fancy for she'd sold those, and set them on the counter. There was ice in the fridge. They were those cute little ice cube shapes, her mother had bought them and insisted on using them. Ice was ice, even if they did come in cyan blue, magenta, violet, yellow, and lime green flowers.

With a flop onto the same-old couch in the same-old living room, Kin rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling. Did she really want to do this? People knew she was pretty adverse to drinking after all. . .Yes. Yes she did. Like many people these days it seemed that she, too, was fed up with life at the moment. A little drinking wouldn't hurt, not in her logic. Of course she was drinking to get drunk, not drinking because it tasted good. Kin thought any sort of alcohol tasted pretty shitty, but that was behind her for the night. She was going to have a friend over, they were going to drink, and in the morning after her hang over, she would go to work and go on with life.

"Tayuya, come on." The raven haired teen groaned to herself, hand reaching up toward the roof. She looked at her palm, then the back side, and wiggled around her fingers. It was almost a shame Sakon and Ukon weren't going to be here, Kin thought. But then again it was an "almost" shame.

Tayuya gave her a look, as if annoyed by Kin, although the other girl hadn't said or done anything to warrant such a response. It was more comfortable to take her jacket off, but such discomfort as an extra layer of fabric or two wasn't anything to catch an attack about. She doubted she would get nagged about keeping it on, but with Kin beckoning for her to pass it over she figured she should just remove it anyway. She wasn't in too much of a mood to protest or be difficult, much unlike her usual bratty self.

After passing her jacket on to her... friend (she still didn't feel close enough to the girl to really consider her a friend, but she needed some sort of title for her and you don't just spend time with mere acquaintences), Tayuya waved her hand at the mention of the obnoxiously overdone room. "Whatever," she shrugged slightly. "Still got my fuckin' eyesight in tact." The room was too pink, blindingly so, but as long as she could still see perfectly well, it wasn't a problem.

"Whaddya get?" She asked, sounding marginally animated compared to her unlively response. Talking was all fine and dandy, but she came here with the intentions of getting boozed up (because what was the point in drinking if it wasn't to just get drunk?), passing out, then waking up hung over.

Taking the jacket, Kin hung it on a hanger as she moved into the kitchen. "Check it out," she said. It wasn't that she was pleased with her selections, or the fact that she got the alcohol, but she sure as hell sounded it. Vaguely she wondered why as she tore open the refrigerator door and held it aloft for Tayuya to peek in.

"Generic beer one, generic beer two, and something shiny." By now she sounded very unimpressed, bored almost, as she motioned around. "There's plenty I think. We have some wine somewhere in the cabinets if we need or you want that." Giving a shrug, she leaned herself upon the fridge door's top with her arms folded over the cool surface. The house was rather warm, Tayuya was probably better off without that blasted jacket anyway.
